Problems with AC3/DTS Passthrough in rev13 (and older versions too)

Hi there, first, thanks to all the developers of this amazing player, it is slowly becoming imho the best media player for the Mac, so, thanks again for this great piece of software.

Now, i want to report an issue that I'm having with AC3/DTS Passthrough:

Before i updated today, i was able to get proper AC3/DTS over spdif/optical by just setting the "Use separate window" settings (so that the video displayer in a separate window than the main UI), that pretty much fixed the issue. But now, with rev13, that option is not there anymore so there seems to be no way to workaround it so far.
The issue is usually like this: Audio cuts all the time and video plays at 2x the speed when using AC3/DTS Passthrough. Any suggestion would be appreciated, also, if you need anybody to help with testing this, count me in.

Also having this problem, selecting DTS passthrough makes the movie play too fast.

Not sure if it's the same problem. My ac3/dts passthrough was working fine and then one day it stopped working (before I even updated my mplayer). It would send garbage to my receiver (loud static).

Anyways, I fixed it by deleting the hu.mplayer* files in /Users/YourName/Library/Preferences directory.

Maybe this will fix the problem for some.. good luck!

My problem was when I try to enable AC3/DTS Passthrough.I use a toslink-mini toslink adapter to my deco,if I uncheck the AC3/DTS the sound received was in normal stereo,if I check them no sound was received as mute.I try the rev 14 test2 but same results.
