Description
The problem rises only with macbooks that have 2 graphics units like macbook pro (intel & nvidia). If intel graphics is used initially, when mplayer osx extended loads macbook switches to nvidia. For some reason (?) this causes fullscreen not to function. However, if nvidia is used before loading mplayer then macbook stays with nvidia and fullscreen works.
I have forced only intel (or only nvidia) and fullscreen worked. So the problem rises only when graphic switching occurs.

I'm having no such problems on my MacBook Pro (2010 15" Core i7 model). Running integrated gfx, starting MPlayer Ext, I see the switch to nVidia (using gfxCardStatus), load a video and full screen works normally.

I just got an i5 macbook pro last night and I am experiencing the same issue. If I try and go fullscreen nothing happens. However, going into energy settings and forcing discreet only fixes this issue.
