rev13-test still uses the rev12 MPlayer binary. I'll push a new one through the autoupdate in a couple of days.
Removed in rev13-test1:
- Video output selection:
Starting from rev13, MPE will only support the integrated video output. This removes a lot of complicated state-synchronization between MPE and MPlayer and will help to further improve the user experience (like cleaning up key-handling).
Note that this doesn't mean chrome-less video output will not come back. The important change is that MPE always handles video output. A chrome-less mode will follow in a later revision.
- ASS subtitles are now always enabled:
Again, this reduces duplicate code paths and simplifies subtitle option handling. If you really want to disable ASS, just add "-noass" to the advanced options.
- Skiploopfitler and Fast options:
The skiploopfilters and fast options have been merged into a less cryptic "optimize for decoding performance by degrading quality" option. If you specifically need one of those options, set then in the advanced options.
- Equalizers are temporarily removed:
The equalizers shouldn't be in the preferences window. They will be re-added as separate controls in a later test version.
